Giselle was named Miss World at the Miss World pageant held on November 13, 1986 in London, UK. She was the first woman from Trinidad and Tobago to win this title. She also holds the title of Miss Trinidad & Tobago World 1986. She has a degree in Sociology and Communication from Goldsmith’s College, University of London. Giselle was awarded the Chaconia Medal and a BWIA plane was named after her. She has worked as a Corporate Communications Manager with Angostura Ltd.
